I always vote. Why did I receive a letter to encourage an “unlikely” voter to vote?

Vote Forward focuses on writing letters to “unlikely” and “relatively unlikely” voters to encourage them to vote. Whether a voter falls into one of these broad categories is a prediction based on voting history, and some people who receive our letters may already be planning to vote. We aim to reach as many people as possible who are not planning to vote, and who will be encouraged to do so after receiving a letter from a fellow citizen.
