When should I mail letters to Alaska?
In general, we ask that all volunteers stick with the exact mail dates we set for each campaign. There are just a few exceptions. One is if you're sending letters from outside the country.
The other is if you're writing letters to Alaska from outside the state. In that case, it's a good idea to send them in the earlier part of the official mailing window to allow extra time for those letters to arrive.
(Note that if you are located outside the continental U.S., we recommend that you send your letters at least 3 days in advance of the end of the window - i.e., by October 26 - to account for extended delivery times.)
